Description

Handbook provides fundamental and enhanced information about the organic and mineral construction materials and products. Various construction compounds and conglomerates are analysed, the construction materials, manufactured from rock melts, are summarised. The dyeing materials and their main composites are reviewed in the book. Standardised classification of the construction materials (applicable in European Union) is briefly described. The main technical requirements for the construction materials are listed, the common requirements of raw materials, required for the manufacturing of the construction materials, are provided.

The aim of the handbook is to introduce students the construction materials, their components, technological processes of the production, classification according to the particular properties of the materials, more effective utilization methods, and properties’ determination methodologies.

The publication is intended for full-time, extramural and part-time students, studying the construction materials in accordance with the program of construction engineering course, as well as for the bachelors, masters, engineers, involved in the construction of buildings, manufacturing of products, and utilization of materials and products.
