Text book “Design of Small Wastewater Treatment Plant” provides knowledge about the small wastewater treatment plants. The recommendations on how to calculate wastewater flow, pollution load, treatment requirements’ levels presented and described. All the steps of waste water treatment technology are presented: screens, grid chambers, prefabricated plants, biological treatment, and sludge treatment. Technological layout of plant treatment, description of the operation principle of plants, and presentation of design parameters of the calculations are provided as well. The usually applied technological scheme for wastewater treatment plants is included. . The book presents the design methodology, calculation parameters, and design load that can be used for the analysis newly designed or reconstructed waste water treatment plants.
