The textbook is intended for those who are studying the Road and Railway Engineering Program. The textbook will be of interest to engineers, working in production companies, and to transport specialists to get useful informatikon about the working equipment in freight and passenger stations.
The textbook deals with the topical issues of survey, design and reconstruction of railway lines. Separate chapters describe the theory of interaction between rolling-stock and railway tracks, design of the parameters of horizontal and vertical alignment , methodology for the layout of railway stations and road structures, means to increase the capacity of railway line, certain questions of railway modernization. The textbook gives materialo n railway development, infrastructure elements, claculations of traction, improvement of the technical level of railway tracks and their adjusment to the traffic of high-speed passenger trains. The main environmental requirements are described for building and using railways.
