English for civil engineers. Part II. Building materials

The educational book English for Civil Engineers. Part II. Building Materials is intended for the undergraduate students studying English for specific purposes, comprising part of their Civil Engineering study programme for continuing and extended education at VGTU.

In the first part, the texts are accompanied by the English-Lithuanian vocabularies and text-based special exercises. The learners of English as a foreign language are provided the possibility of approaching the text as a linguistic object and as a vehicle for information leading to the activities beyond the text. The acquired skills and knowledge facilitate the reading of the informative texts provided in the second part of the book.
