The textbook aims to introduce readers with modern digital signal processing technologies, and to assist to quickly comprehend their modelling and implement it with MATLAB software. The textbook aims at outlining the most valuable features of MATLAB, delivering the main knowledge of its programming, presenting solutions of real practical tasks in order to teach using the main MATLAB programming tools; presenting and analyzing digital systems’ implementation by the MATLAB software to assist in grasping modern audio, video and other signal processing technologies. The textbook is comprised of 4 parts that are divided into 16 chapters, having 69 examples, 2 algorithms and 170 tasks for individual work. At the end of the book descriptions of 368 programs MATLAB commands and functions, a list of examples, terms dictionary and a list of tasks are presented. For search facilitation subject index is given as well. In general, the textbook is suitable for novice MATLAB users as well as for the users who are willing to master this digital systems modelling and implementation environment as a tool to solve arising specific applied tasks.
