The textbook provides theoretical knowledge about organizing and planning of scientific research, uncertainty analysis, and innovation policy. The textbook will provide science evolution history, science concept, there will be discussed variety of scientific research, levels of science understanding and science classification, organisation and planning of research process. It is intended to provide methodology for assessment of uncertainties and methodology of sensitivity and uncertainty analysis of modelling parameters, how to prepare and submit scientific publications. It is planned to provide students with information about scientific research and experimental developments in the universities and research centres of Lithuania as well as the perspective of scientific research in Europe and strategy of scientific research in Lithuania.
