Course Change Management (VVTVM24203) annotation

Taking into account the peculiarities of contemporary organizational change management of organizations and analyzing international business experience, the students are acquainted with the main models and tools of organizational change management; the role of leadership is discussed; the problems of resistance to organizational change are highlighted; the tools which allow to overcome these problems and successfully implement business strategy are presented.

Aim of course

To provide a theoretical background of organizational change management and comprehensive understanding of the organizational change management process. To highlight the knowledge, skills, and resources that will most assist the managers in making effective decisions and undertaking successful actions. To develop practical skills of organizational change management.

Learning outcomes: will know and understand the role of leaders in change management, business change management theories and management methodologies, and be able to apply them in assessing the need for change, initiating the change process, developing and implementing a change plan, assessing their effectiveness, and managing resistance to change.

Basic knowledge and skills required to study this course (if applicable): Management.

Faculty and course volume in credits: A 6-credit course of study for the Master's degree in the Faculty of Business Management.

Upon completion of the course with a positive assessment, a Certificate of Completion will be issued, which is transferable to any higher education institution. Upon completion of the course module without a final assessment, a certificate of completion of the course is issued.
